Presidential and Faculty Perceptions of Presidential Effectiveness Qualities in Christian Higher Education
Leadership effectiveness has been studied by many researchers in a variety of contexts. For example, Kouzes and Posner (2010) studied what characteristics followers most desired in their leaders. Others have studied the relation of leadership effectiveness to the motivation to lead, the ability to meet goals, and leader self-efficacy (Hendricks & Payne, 2007), to humor (Priest & Swain, 2002), altruism (Moss & Barbuto, 2010), and adaptability (Schreuder et al., 2011).
