Recovering Religiosity For Use in Outcomes Assessment Within the Bible College

As with other institutions of higher education, ABHE schools have been asked to prove that they are accomplishing institutional goals through participation in the development and use of clear outcomes based assessment plans (ABHE 2007, p. 1). New standards, developed in 2000, include “a commitment to spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development that is consistent with biblical higher education” (ABHE 2005, p. 27) but the precise elements of such development are not detailed within ABHE publications nor may such detail be possible.
